Vendors: Savannah Wedding Professionals

There are a lot of wedding vendors in Savannah, some have been here as long or longer than I have – I’ve been here 18 years. Some have been here a week or two, and most are somewhere in between those.

Please read reviews for your wedding vendors. If they don’t have a facebook page and/or a Wedding Wire (or some sort of place to leave reviews), then you may want to continue looking.

I know not everyone has a huge budget and I realized we all do the best we can with the resources we have. The premiere wedding vendors are Savannah Wedding Professionals, yet there are MANY more wedding vendors who are fantastic whom are not a part of the Savannah Wedding Professionals because that organization limits each category to three vendors. check out my blog on those vendors.

Please note: just because some are expensive doesn’t mean they are good. And just because someone are budget friendly, doesn’t mean they are not good.

Look closely at photos in websites. I recently saw a website where there was a photo of the bride, groom and wedding guests with the ocean in the background. Beautiful setting. I looked closer at it and the bride wasn’t looking at the camera, her hair was a mess, and other things. IMO, if the photos on a website are lacking details (or good quality photos), then you may want to look else where. But even if they are high quality, doesn’t mean they are a vendor you’d want to hire.

I make a note here about photos: my Facebook fan page has pictures that I take on it – some are out of focus and aren’t all that good. I’m not a photographer and I don’t play one on TV. I put the photos there so people can tag themselves in the photos and so that their family and friends who can’t make it to the ceremony can get a look at them soon after the ceremony!
